SparkPlug Theatre Company (founded in April 2006) was created upon the joint consensus that something was missing within the mystical world of theatre.

We realised that there was a distinct lack of platforms readily available for prominent social issues to be explored and brought to light. As a company we seek to raise awareness and challenge various common concerns that affect ordinary people’s lives on a daily basis.
 
Ten-Ten Shift is our latest project that aims to do just this. The new play will be performed at The Lowry on the 14th & 15th January. (See future productions for more details)

As a company we consist of four trained performers who work collaboratively alongside our creative director, Darren Gordon. Our goal is to create performances that are not only of a challenging and thought provoking nature but are performed to a professional standard and most importantly are thoroughly entertaining.
